Engagement data from all channels is stored in Data Cloud and is used for reporting in the Marketing App Analytics page. An engagement data point can be thought of as a record of a moment in time. This moment will retain all of the metadata that is recorded. For example: The Email or SMS content sent to the user, the Campaign sending the content, the Flow powering the Campaign, etc. All of this data is stored as engagement data, and will not be deleted from a report, even if the campaign or flow that led to the engagement is deleted.
If a campaign has been deleted, and you no longer wish to see the engagement data for this campaign in engagement reports such as All Email Activities or Top Campaigns by Click-through Rate, you can filter by “Engagement Date Time.” Add this filter by following the steps below:
