Event Monitoring Analytics App Does Not Track Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) Experience Site Traffic

The CRM Analytics Event Monitoring Analytics app uses the Lightning Page View Event Type to track page views across Salesforce. However, this event type does not capture traffic from LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) Experience Sites.
LWR is the next-generation runtime for Salesforce Experience Cloud sites, offering faster page load performance. Because LWR sites use a different rendering architecture than classic Lightning Experience sites, the Lightning Page View Event Type does not log page views for LWR-based sites.
As a result, administrators and analysts using the Event Monitoring Analytics app are unable to see guest user or authenticated user page views for LWR Experience Sites. This is a known platform limitation.

Lösning

This is a known limitation of the Lightning Page View Event Type in CRM Analytics. There is currently no workaround available within the Event Monitoring Analytics app to track LWR Experience Site traffic.
What this means for your org:

  • LWR Experience Site page views from both guest users and authenticated users are not captured in the Event Monitoring Analytics app.
  • Classic (non-LWR) Experience Sites and standard Lightning Experience pages are tracked normally.

Recommended action: If tracking LWR site traffic is a business requirement, monitor Salesforce Known Issues and Release Notes for future updates to LWR event tracking support. You may also consider using Salesforce Shield Event Monitoring or third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) as supplemental tracking for LWR Experience Site traffic.
