Data 360: Delay in Data Reflecting in Profile Explorer After Identity Resolution Modifications

Julkaisupäivä: Dec 5, 2025
Kuvaus

Immediate data updates in the Profile Explorer after running Identity Resolution jobs can be delayed due to several factors:

  1. Caching Issues:
Successive modifications to the IR ruleset within a single day can lead to caching problems. These issues result in further delays in data visibility within the Profile Explorer.
  2. Day Zero Process:
When updates are made to the IR, such as changes in the ruleset or modifications to the underlying metadata, like relationships between DMOs used in Identity Resolution or mappings, it triggers a complete dataset refresh and rerun of the Unification jobs as part of the Day Zero process. This inherent process introduces delays and can take time to complete.

To minimize delays, ensure that the Day Zero job is fully completed before making additional modifications to the IR ruleset. Data Explorer reflects the most up-to-date backend table values through query execution, whereas the Profile Explorer may require additional time for synchronization.
