Help for Non-Technical Tableau Issues

Looking for help with a non-technical Tableau issue? The information below will guide you to the appropriate team for support with your issue.

 

Tableau Customer Service:

  • For customer onboarding, administrative, and general entry-point matters such as Tableau Customer Portal and Salesforce Help Portal access and issues, license provisioning and activation, and password resets, please email customerservice@tableau.com.

  • Answers to common customer service questions can be here.

 

Account Executive:

  • For issues related to (Server and eLearning) license keys not being visible, changes to (Server and eLearning) product keys and licenses, managing designated contacts in the Salesforce Help Portal, suspended sites, and license expiry and renewals, please contact your AE directly. If you do not have an AE, please reach out to Customer Service in the manner referenced above.

 

Billing:

  • For billing and invoicing questions and issues (e.g. updating billing contact details, suspended accounts, payments, refunds, orders, statements, invoices, banking details) you can find the correct contact email address per region in this article: Contact the Customer Service Billing Department.

 

Tableau Academics:

  • If you are an instructor at an accredited institution, or a student learning as part of a course or on your own and have a question about Tableau offerings, please email the Tableau Academic Team, tft@tableau.com. Other support resources include:

Non-Profit: 

  • For non-profits who have received donated licenses of Tableau Desktop through the legacy Tableau Foundation program, please log a case with Tableau Technical Support through the Salesforce Help Portal.

  • Due to the use of a third-party distribution partner for non-profits, there may be a slight delay in receiving a response for your case.

 

For technical support issues, please open a case with Tableau Technical Support through the Salesforce Help Portal and be sure to select the associated Tableau org (see the Org Selection (Org Picker) article for help on switching between orgs in the Salesforce Help Portal).
