Descrizione

Duplicate list views in Salesforce can cause conflicts, particularly when developer names overlap. If the Lightning Experience interface does not allow you to delete a duplicate list view, you can delete it manually by opening it in the Classic interface using the steps in this article.

Risoluzione

This article explains how to delete a duplicate list view in Salesforce when the Lightning Experience interface does not allow deletion. Follow these steps to identify the duplicate list view and delete it manually in the Classic interface.

Step 1: Identify the Duplicate List Views

Use the Developer Console to run the following SOQL query, which finds list views whose developer name ends in 1.

SELECT CreatedById, CreatedDate, DeveloperName, Id, IsSoqlCompatible, LastModifiedById, LastModifiedDate, LastReferencedDate, LastViewedDate, Name, NamespacePrefix, SobjectType, SystemModstamp FROM ListView WHERE DeveloperName LIKE '%1'`

Step 2: Retrieve the List View ID

Copy the Id of the duplicate list view from the query results.

Step 3: Open the List View in the Classic Interface

Use the following URL format to open the list view in Classic. Replace yourInstance with your Salesforce instance and ListViewRecordId with the list view Id from Step 2.

Step 4: Delete the Duplicate List View

  • Open the URL in a new browser tab.
  • The Classic interface displays the list view details.
  • Click the Delete button.

Step 5: Verify the Deletion

Run the query again, or navigate back to the Lightning Experience interface, to confirm that the duplicate list view no longer exists.
