Data Quality Warning Displaying for Tableau Bridge Extract Refresh and Does Not Disappear

Publiseringsdato: Jan 16, 2025
Beskrivelse

A data quality warning appears on a data source which is refreshed through Tableau Bridge, and does not go away despite a successful Bridge refresh.

This issue can occur in a scenario where an extract refresh initially runs through Tableau Cloud (as opposed to Bridge) and fails due to the incorrect configuration/Bridge configuration, causing the data quality warning to appear for the Cloud refresh. The subsequent successful Bridge refreshes will not succeed in clearing the Data Quality Warning from the data source.

Data Quality Warnings will not appear and are not supported for Tableau Bridge refreshes (as noted in our Data Quality Warning Documentation), but in this rare case, it may appear on the Bridge refresh due to refreshing in Tableau Cloud due to an incorrect configuration, causing the data quality warning to show.

Løsning

To remove the false data quality warning:

1. Navigate to the Settings page on Tableau Cloud.
2. Scroll down until you see the Extract Refresh and Flow Run Monitoring setting checkboxes.
3. Un-check both of these boxes, and select Proceed.
4. Select Save to apply the changes.
5. Check both boxes again to re-enable it, and then select Proceed and Save to re-apply it.
