Document Checklist Items in action plan templates help manage and track required customer documents. Each checklist item specifies the files customers need to upload, which are then processed through an approval workflow. Customers can submit, resubmit, and monitor the status of their documents from submission to approval.
Ensure the user has the necessary object and field-level permissions for the Document Checklist Item (DCI) to be visible. The required permissions for the DCI object can be granted to the user through profile and permission sets.
After configuring the template, click Publish Template. Once published, the DCI will appear in the action plans created using this template.
