Transaction Line Progress Indicator Component in Revenue Cloud

Udgivelsesdato: Jan 30, 2025
Beskrivelse

In the 254 release of Revenue Cloud, the Transaction Line Progress Indicator component is utilized more extensively within the Transaction Line Table (TLT) on quotes and orders. This component is included on default quote and order layouts, offering enhanced functionality for tracking the progress of transaction lines.

Instances in which organizations have customized their quote and order page layouts, there is a possibility that the Transaction Line Progress Indicator component was removed during the customization process.

To facilitate a smooth transition to Revenue Cloud version 254, it is recommended that Salesforce administrators verify the presence of the Transaction Line Progress Indicator component on all quote and order layouts. If the component is absent, core pieces of functionality may not perform as expected. For example:

  1. Informational and Error messages will not appear when triggered
  2. Browse Catalog may not function properly

To verify that the component is present, identify all Quote and Order pages:

  1. Navigate to a quote record. From the Setup dropdown menu, click Edit Page.
  2. Verify that the Transaction Line Progress Indicator is present on the page.
    1. By default, it should appear above the TLT component. The preview message on the component says "Your object is being saved..." and it will display a progress bar.
  3. If the component is not present, search for the component in the panel and add it on the page layout.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3, starting from an order record.
