About the DateTimeSend field in the MobilePush Detail Extract Report

게시 일자: Apr 24, 2025
상세 설명

This article explains the behavior of the DateTimeSend field in the MobilePush Detail Extract Report, specifically how its value can change depending on the report's extraction date range when Inbox messages are involved.

MobilePush Detail Extract Report allows you to check the send results of push messages for each device. For details on the columns included in the report, please refer to this URL https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000395722&type=1.

The DateTimeSend column indicates the date and time the message was sent. However, please note that when you send Inbox messages, this field will contain the following values:

Inbox Only

The value will be the same as InboxMessageDownloaded.

*(Note: Inbox messages are downloaded only when the user launches the app on the target device after the message is made available.)

Alert + Inbox

The value depends on the report's date range:

  • If the extract's date range includes the Alert (Push Notification) send time: DateTimeSend will be the Push Notification send time.

  • If the extract's date range does not include the Alert (Push Notification) send time: DateTimeSend will be the same value as InboxMessageDownloaded.

Example Scenario:

This means that for the same send, the DateTimeSend value may change depending on the extraction period.

  • Dec 1: An "Alert + Inbox" message is sent.

  • Dec 8: The subscriber launches the app, and the Inbox message is downloaded.

Reporting Results:

  • If you run the report for the period Dec 1 - Dec 7: The record will appear, and DateTimeSend will be Dec 1.

  • If you run the report for the period Dec 8 - Dec 14: The record will appear, and DateTimeSend will be Dec 8.
