Salesforce Login Changes to a Shared Gmail Account After SSO Auto-Login (Gmail Integration)

Data pubblicazione: Aug 21, 2026
Descrizione

Why This Happens

This occurs when your Salesforce org's SSO settings are configured to automatically log you into Salesforce based on the Gmail account you're currently logged into in your browser. If you log into a shared Gmail account, Salesforce switches your session to whichever Salesforce user is linked to that shared account via SSO.

Risoluzione

How to Fix It

Revoke the SSO grant for the shared Gmail account. Only your own personal Gmail account should be linked here — any shared account link can cause this switching behavior.

  1. Click the Profile avatar icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Go to Advanced User Details.
  4. Under Third-Party Account Links, find the shared Gmail account.
  5. Click Revoke.
