Troubleshooting Steps

Ensure Private Keys are Valid

1. Ensure that you are retrieving the Private Key from the JSON file and entering it without extra text.
2. Do not include the "private_key": "-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----" at the beginning or "-----END PRIVATE KEY-----" at the end of the key when entering it into the connector field.
3. Only the raw key content should be provided between these markers.
4. Verify Private Key Formatting. One of the most common causes of this error is an improperly formatted Private Key.  Check Private keys are generated and added correctly . Refer: Key-pair authentication and key-pair rotation 

Check IP Whitelisting

1. Ensure the IP addresses required for the Snowflake connection are whitelisted on the Snowflake side. You should confirm with your Snowflake admin to make sure that the IP addresses listed below are allowed for incoming connections:

3.  Hyperforce IPs to Allow - Sales, Service, Industries, and Tableau Clouds

5. These IPs are needed to ensure that the connection from Salesforce (CRMA) is able to securely reach Snowflake without being blocked.

Other Potential Issues:

1. Incorrect Credentials: Double-check that the username, password, and account details are entered correctly in the Snowflake connection settings.
2. Firewall/Network Issues: Ensure that there are no firewall or network restrictions preventing access to Snowflake’s endpoints.

Re-Test Connection
After making the necessary corrections, go ahead and click Save and Test to verify if the issue is resolved. If you still encounter the error, recheck each configuration step, particularly the private key and IP whitelisting.
