Before You Open a Case

Check the following before submitting a case — many common issues have self-serve solutions:

  • Search the Quip knowledge articles on this help site for your specific error message or symptom
  • Check the Quip Status Page for any active incidents or outages affecting your region
  • Try the issue in a different browser or in a private/incognito window to rule out browser cache issues

How to Open a Support Case

  1. Go to help.salesforce.com.
  2. Click Contact Support in the top navigation.
  3. Sign in with your Trailblazer Account — a free Salesforce community login that gives you access to the Help portal. If you do not have one, click Sign Up to create one at no cost.
  4. Click Create a Case.
  5. Agentforce, Salesforce's AI-powered support assistant, will ask you questions about your issue. Answer as specifically as possible — this helps route your case to the right team and may surface an immediate solution.
  6. If Agentforce cannot resolve the issue, select I still need help to escalate to a human support agent.
  7. Fill in the case details including the product (Quip), severity level, and a detailed description.
  8. Click Submit.

What to Include in Your Case

Include the following details to help Support investigate faster:

  • Your Quip site URL (for example, https://yourcompany.quip.com)
  • The browser and operating system you are using
  • The exact error message you see (copy and paste it rather than paraphrasing)
  • The document URL if the issue is specific to one document
  • Steps to reproduce the issue
  • Whether the issue affects all users or specific users only
  • A HAR log if Support has requested one (see How to Capture a HAR Log for Quip Support Troubleshooting)
