Salesforce lead and contact record limit reached

This email applies only for customers using Salesforce Starter and Salesforce Pro Suite, specifically if you utilize the Marketing App features within either edition. 

There is a limit of 20,000 lead or contact records for Salesforce Starter/ and Salesforce Pro Suite (see Data and Segmentation table). Once this limit is reached, automated data syncing is paused and changes that you make to lead and contact records aren’t reflected in marketing segments, and segments aren’t regularly refreshed. 

Løsning

Syncing resumes after you remove any old or unnecessary lead and contact records that synced previously and your total lead and contact record count drops below the 20,000 record limit.

You can review your total lead and contact record count in the Storage Usage page of Salesforce Setup (see further documentation here).
