Key considerations for implementing parallel approvals in Revenue Cloud Advanced

While implementing parallel approvals in Revenue Cloud Advanced, users might encounter an issue where approvals are not triggered as expected. Specifically, when multiple approval chains are implemented, the approval is only triggered for the first approval step's approver, and other users in the parallel approval chain do not receive their expected approval emails.

Solución

Once we ensure that the setup is correctly configured, we need to make sure that in orchestration flow in the approval step under Select the Record to Approve:

  • Lock the record is unchecked
  • Once the option is disabled, the 'Allow approver to edit the locked record' checkbox will also be unchecked automatically.

  Additionally, please refer to the available OOTB Action, which can be used as a workaround.
