Using Account Engagement with Salesforce Identity users

To support customers with Account Engagement-only users who can not obtain full Salesforce licenses, 100 Salesforce Identity licenses have been added to all customer orgs. These Identity licenses can be used as a no-cost way of creating Account Engagement-only users.

Lösung

You can create a new user in Salesforce using an Identity license, then proceed with giving them access as normal. If using the Account Engagement Lightning App, additional permission sets are necessary in addition to the Identity license. More on this can be found here.

Note: Users with an Identity license cannot access Leads or Contacts in Salesforce, so Account Engagement recommends that all Sales users have a Sales Cloud or Service Cloud license before any prospects are assigned to them.
