Starting Feb 2025, some users may experience the following message when attempting to login to Outlook Integration:
"This add-in requires permission to access and use your data. To continue, accept the permissions, and then log in to Salesforce"
This article explains why some users see a permission message on the Outlook Integration login screen, and what to do about it. This is an expected message due to Microsoft's Nested App Authentication changes introduced in February 2025.
Users may still see this message the first time they use Outlook Integration. They'll be automatically logged in after clicking "Review and Accept Permissions."
Users will get another Microsoft prompt to accept permissions and may need to contact their Microsoft 365 admin for help.
