Installing in a Sandbox Org the specific b2bmaIntegration package with namespace ‘pi3’ to configure Account Engagement Sandbox Functionality

Veröffentlichungsdatum: Sep 30, 2025
Beschreibung

Note - This article is in relation to Account Engagement Sandbox environments only and not Production. In addition, this article is specifically regarding the 'b2bmaIntegration' managed package and not in relation to the 'Account Engagement (Pardot)' package.

Within Account Engagement associated Sandbox Orgs, on occasions, it can either have the incorrect b2bmaIntegration package installed with the namespace ‘b2bma’ which is for Production Orgs or it may not have this package installed at all. As a result of this, it would prevent being able to fully configure and utilise the Account Engagement Sandbox functionality as the Salesforce Connector will be stuck indefinitely on status 'verification in progress'.

To check what namespace version of the package you have/if you have this package installed in the Sandbox Org, it's as follows:

  1. In the Sandbox Org, on the System Administrator Quick Find menu page, go to the 'Installed Packages' page (via Apps - Packaging - Installed Packages)
  2. Check in the list of installed packages if there's a package with the Name of 'b2bmaIntegration' by the publisher 'Salesforce'
  3. If there's a b2bmaIntegration by the publisher Salesforce with the namespace 'pi3', no action is needed regarding the other steps in this article. If however, there's a b2bmaIntegration package with the namespace 'b2bma' or if there's no b2bmaIntegration package at all installed in the Sandbox Org, proceed to the Resolution steps

Lösung

Uninstalling the Production version of the b2bmaIntegration package installed with the namespace ‘b2bma’ from the Sandbox Org

(If your Sandbox Org does not have any b2bmaIntegration package installed, proceed straight to 'Installing the b2bmaIntegration package with the correct namespace ‘pi3’ in the Sandbox Org' in the section below this)

If there's a b2bmaIntegration package with the namespace 'b2bma', please proceed with these steps to first completely uninstall it from the Sandbox Org:

  1. On the 'Installed Packages' page in the Sandbox Org, for the b2bmaIntegration package with the namespace 'b2bma', select the 'uninstall' option
  2. Select the option of 'Do not save a copy of this package's data after uninstall' and click the checkbox of 'Yes, I want to uninstall this package and permanently delete all associated components'. Then, select the uninstall button.
  3. This can take a few minutes to process. Once it has processed, on the Installed Packages page, at the bottom in the 'Uninstalled Packages' section, there will be a 'Del' action to delete this package. Please proceed with deleting the package to remove the package completely from the Sandbox Org
