Learn how to disable or enable the system generated 'Case transferred to you' email notification when changing the case owner.

Resolution

Here are the steps to disable or enable the 'Case transferred to you' email notification when changing the case owner.


In Classic:

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Select Customize.
  3. Select Cases.
  4. Select Support Settings.
  5. Deselect the Notify Case Owners when Case Ownership Changes checkbox to disable email notifications. Select the Notify Case Owners when Case Ownership Changes checkbox to enable email notifications.

In Lightning:

  1. Click on the Gear Icon (Setup).
  2. Select Feature Settings.
  3. Select Service.
  4. Select Support Setting.
  5. Deselect the Notify Case Owners when Case Ownership Changes checkbox to disable email notifications. Select the Notify Case Owners when Case Ownership Changes checkbox to enable email notifications.
