Extra Line Space appears between Lines in User's HTML Email Signature

The user is experiencing an issue where email signatures are not displaying correctly when replying to emails from Salesforce. The lines in the signature are not breaking as they should, despite the HTML code being correct.

Salesforce retains carriage returns in the Email Signature field (My Email Settings). As a result, if your HTML email signature includes paragraph (<p>) or line break (<br>) tags along with carriage returns, it may cause unintended extra line breaks.

솔루션
  • Login to Salesforce into affected user's account.
  • Click on the Avatar(Right Top Corner)
  • Go to Settings> Emails > My Email Settings and Go to Signature field and modify the HTML content as per the suggestions mentioned below wherein users may opt one of the following solutions to remove the extra line space from the user's signature:
    • Avoid using <p> or <br> tags. Instead, use carriage returns (pressing Enter) to create new lines. You can apply styling to specific lines or words using <span> tags.
    • Avoid using carriage returns altogether. Write the HTML for the email signature as a single continuous line, using <br> tags to create line breaks. As with Option 1, you can use <span> tags to style specific portions of the text.
