Data 360: Error "To activate, deactivate, or delete this retriever, remove or deactivate all references to it and try again."

To resolve the error mentioned in the article Delete a Retriever, remove the retriever from any prompt templates where it is referenced.

Follow these steps:

1. Check if the retriever has a reference in the Prompt Builder:
   • Go to Setup.
   • Search for Prompt Builder in the Quick Find box.
   • Check if the retriever is associated with any prompt in the Prompt Builder.
   • If it is, remove the retriever reference from the prompt template.
2. If you still cannot delete the retriever after deactivating all references, check and delete the associated ADL (Agentforce Data Library) from Setup.
3. Retrievers can also be used in Settings → Flow, although this is less common. We recommend double-checking any user-created flows to ensure the retriever isn’t being used there. If it is, please remove it from all versions of the flow as well. 

Additionally, remove the retriever from all versions of the prompt templates, not just the active one. Ensure that all references to the retriever are deleted in every version of the prompt templates.
