Activity Metrics Do Not Support List Emails

Description

When a user sends a list email to multiple leads in an org enabled for Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) and Activity Metrics, the list email appears in the activity timeline, However, the Activity Metrics fields—specifically Last Email Date—are not updated. 

Steps to Reproduce:

1.Open the Contact or Lead tab
2.Select a few records
3.Send a list email

You will see the "Last Email Date" field in the selected records does not get updated to the current date

Résolution

Currently, Activity Metrics does not support list emails. The data provided by Activity Metrics is only available for manual emails sent through the email action, which allows Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) to track and capture activity data.

This limitation is considered a feature request and is currently being tracked by Salesforce.
