Is NPSP a license type, and how does it work with Salesforce orgs? No, NPSP is not a Salesforce license type. The Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) is a suite of six managed packages that can be installed on top of Sales Cloud licenses in an Enterprise or Unlimited Edition Salesforce org. Organizations that choose the Sales and Service Cloud bundle can manually install NPSP if they wish to use that data model and functionality, or instead can start with our Agentforce Nonprofit product by selecting the Agentforce Nonprofit – Enterprise Edition option when applying.
What is the current state of NPSP — is it still being developed and supported? NPSP remains fully supported, meaning organizations can continue to use it without any disruption, and they will receive Salesforce support if they open a case. However, while still supported, it is no longer receiving direct development of features or enhancements. We call this "End of Innovation". For nonprofits currently running NPSP, there is no requirement to migrate to our latest offering Agentforce Nonprofit (AFNP), formerly called Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) until they are ready. The NPSP packages can still be installed by following these instructions.
