While syncing the OpportunitySplit Data Stream into Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud), you may notice that certain Split records are missing. This may lead to a discrepancy in the number of records between your CRM source and the Data 360 Data Stream.
This issue typically occurs when the Platform Integration User does not have the required permissions to access the underlying fields that a specific Split Type relies on.
To resolve this issue and ensure all Opportunity Split records sync correctly:
Field-Level Access (Opportunity Object)
Confirm that the Platform Integration User has read access to the Opportunity field tied to the Split Type.
🔍 Even if the user has access to the
OpportunitySplitobject, missing access to the relatedOpportunityfields can silently block record visibility.
Profile Settings (Field-Level Security)
Navigate to the Profile or Permission Set assigned to the Platform Integration User.
Verify that Field-Level Security grants read-only access to relevant fields on both:
Opportunity
OpportunitySplit
Object-Level Permissions
Ensure the Platform Integration User has the correct object permissions for both Opportunity and OpportunitySplit.
At a minimum, the user should have Read access.
Once these permissions are correctly set, the missing records should begin syncing into Data 360 without issue.
