Prerequisites to Check

  • User Permissions: The user performing the Marketing Performance installation should have both the Data Cloud Architect and Marketing Cloud Admin permission sets assigned.

  • Datakit Installation: Verify that the datakits are successfully installed under Basic Settings in Salesforce Setup.

  • SSOT Package Version: Confirm that the SSOT package version is 1.93 or above.

Troubleshooting Semantic Model Creation Error

If you encounter the specific semantic model creation error mentioned in the description, follow these steps:

  1. Review Web Tracking Article: Refer to and follow steps 3a-3f in the Salesforce help article.

  2. Verify Data Model Field Mapping:

    • From the App Launcher, search for and open the Data Cloud App.

    • For the following fields, ensure that the IsMapped column is checked:
