To perform mapping in the data model object mapping screen, add the data model objects and items you want to link.
First, enter the data model object mapping screen from the data stream record of the data lake object you want to map.
Click the Select Object button in the Data Model Entity Area on the right side of the mapping screen and select the data model object to link to the data lake object. You can select multiple data model objects as needed.
If there is no standard data model object to link to, switch to the Custom Data Model tab and add a new or existing custom data model object.
Once you have added data model objects, fields are automatically mapped based on algorithms such as past mapping history and field name similarities. To map fields other than those automatically mapped, expand No Mapping and link them manually. You can also create new fields from Add New Field.
The data types of the fields to be mapped must be compatible.
