There are several methods for importing unstructured data into Data Cloud: directly uploading to the Agentforce Data Library, importing from third-party applications such as Amazon S3, using Mulesoft Direct, or using the Query API.
If you are unable to import unstructured data, perform troubleshooting based on the import method used.
First, verify that the connection settings for importing data are correct.
If there are no issues with the connection settings, next verify that the directory paths and file patterns are correctly defined in the data lake object settings.
If there are errors in the directory paths or file patterns, you will need to correct the source or recreate the data lake.
If the source is an external blob such as Amazon S3, additional implementation is required to notify Data Cloud that files have been uploaded to those storage locations and trigger the data ingestion process. Verify that this is working correctly in each application (e.g., Cloud Watch for Amazon S3).
For implementation methods on external storage such as third-party applications, please confirm with your company's developers or the providers of each application.
If there are no issues on the data source side, perform troubleshooting on the Data Cloud side. If support is required, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
