How to troubleshoot Experience Cloud site publishing errors

게시 일자: May 30, 2025
상세 설명

When publishing the Experience Cloud site, you may face errors.
Those errors have some causes. Please try following resolutions.

솔루션
  1. 1. Remove CSS from the Experience Builder.
Go to Builder > Themes > ▼ > Edit CSS and remove the CSS. If the CSS content or length is too large, an error may occur.
  2. Remove Head Markup from the Experience Builider.
Go to Builder > Settings > Advanced > Edit Head Markup and remove the Markup. The markup content may be causing the error.
  3. Remove custom components from the site.
The implementation of a custom component may be affecting the site's publishing process.
  4. Remove the section on the page and place it on the page again.
Replacing the section may improve this error.
  5. Remove all assignments of audience from the page, component.
As reported in Known Issues, the user assignment may be causing the error. Remove all user assignments and try publishing the site again.
  6. Review the number of navigation menu items.
The error may occur if too many navigation menu items are created for a single site. Also note the length of the characters in the title of the navigation menu item, as the total number of characters may be affected.
  7. If the problem is with the site on Sandbox, try updating the navigation menus one by one.
Inconsistencies rarely occur when creating a Sandbox. You do not need to make any changes to the navigation menu here. Simply open the navigation menu via Edit and save it via Save Menu.

If the above does not resolve the error, please contact Technical Support.
