Starting August 16, 2025, Slack learning content will be available on Trailhead. Access to Slack Certified will no longer be available after this date. Complete in-progress courses and check out Trailhead for all Slack learning going forward.

Platform Changes

Q. What is changing?

A. Starting August 2025, Trailhead will become primary learning destination for all Slack self-paced content. The current e-learning content and skills badges available through Slack Certified will no longer be accessible after this transition.

Q. Why are we making this change?

A. We are constantly evaluating our learning platforms and resources to ensure they best meet the needs of our learners. This decision allows us to leverage Trailhead, Salesforce's free online learning platform, which offers a robust and comprehensive learning experience for Slack.

Q. When will this change happen?

A. Our access to Slack Certified for Slack content will officially end on August 16, 2025 5:59 am PDT. Please mark this date on your calendar.

Current Learning Progress

Q. What happens to my current progress on Slack Certified?

A. If you are currently enrolled in a Slack Certified course for Slack, you will have until August 16, 2025 5:59 am PDT to complete your courses. We highly recommend completing any in-progress learning before this date.

Your earned skills badges from Slack Certified will not be migrated to Trailhead. If you linked your skills badges on LinkedIn or other social platforms, they might still be visible but you will be unable to access the associated hyperlink to verify the Credential ID.

Q. What happens to Slack Certified Directory?

A. Slack Certified Directory: https://directory.slackcertified.com/ will be retired with Slack Skills badges retirement.

Q. What happens to my Slack certification?

A. Slack certifications have been migrated to Salesforce and are displayed on your Trailblazer profile. If you have not done so already, be sure to add your Salesforce certification to your LinkedIn profile. Slack certifications in Accredible's Credential Wallet will be removed on July 21, 2025 5:59 am PDT. Find out more about Salesforce's new certification experience.

Q. Where will I find Slack learning content moving forward?

A. Self-paced Slack learning content will be available on Trailhead, including certification preparation materials. Trailhead offers a wide range of modules, trails, and projects.

Q. How do I access Slack learning on Trailhead?

A. Visit https://trailhead.salesforce.com/ and search for "Slack" content. You'll need to create a free Trailhead account if you don't already have one.
