Update your User Information in Salesforce Authenticator

Description

In the Salesforce Authenticator, the service name for a user is set to "Salesforce" by default. Additionally, even if a username is changed on Salesforce, it is not linked to Salesforce Authenticator, and the username will not be updated automatically.
*Please note that authentication will continue to work even if the username is not updated.

Résolution

Steps to edit the account name and username.

  1. Open the Salesforce Authenticator application.
  2. From the home screen, tap the [ > ]symbol for the target account.
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to the account name.
  4. Enter the desired changes and tap [Save].
