Concurrent udpate error when attempting to publish a workbook from Tableau Desktop to Tableau Cloud

Description
Customer attempted to edit a workbook locally in Tableau Desktop then republish overwriting the existing workbok on Cloud but received an error "Concurrent update" Could not acquire exclusive lock on the. file as it is locked by another upload.
Resolution
Close all Tableau Desktop versions on the client side.
Delete the existing copy of the workbook on Tableau Cloud
Open a local copy of the workbook in Tableau Desktop then republish.
Additional Resources
Possible workarounds are to WebEdit the workbook on Tableau Cloud or upload the workbook through Tableau Cloud assuming the workbook is not corrupted.
