In Lightning Experience, Lightning record pages can include multiple Dynamic Related List – Single components, each filtered by a field value — for example, one list showing records where Active = True and another showing records where Active = False.
If a user updates the filtered field on a related record (for example, changing Active from True to False) and then navigates back to the parent record without switching tabs or performing a full page refresh, the related lists may continue to display stale data: the record may still appear in the list filtered for its previous value, and the updated record may not yet appear in the related list for its new value. This is caused by client-side caching of related list data. A manual refresh of the Lightning page reloads the related lists correctly.
This article explains why Dynamic Related List – Single components can show outdated data after a related record changes, and how to get the related lists to reflect the latest data.
Manually refresh the parent Lightning page after making changes to related records to ensure the latest data is loaded into the related lists.
