Understanding Date Field Display Differences in Salesforce Screen Flow vs. Lightning Record Pages

When adding a Date field in a Screen Flow, the preview displays the format as "Dec 31, 2024", whereas on the record detail page, the same field appears in the format "12/31/2024".

This discrepancy occurs because Salesforce Screen Flows use a different date format in the preview mode compared to the runtime (e.g., detail page). This behavior is Working As Designed (WAD).
