Summer 25 release changes for Order Ingestion Service in Salesforce Order Management

In the Summer 25’ release, Order Ingestion was enabled by default for all B2C customers using Order Management. As a result, all B2C customers now use the same order ingestion service to bring B2C Commerce orders into Order Management. The Order Ingestion feature is found on the Order Management Setup page and should never be turned off because disabling Order Ingestion causes the order ingestion pipeline to pause, which stops order summary records from being created.

Lösung

The label for this feature on the Order Management Setup page is High Scale Ingestion which has caused confusion among customers who erroneously believe it to be related to High Scale Order Ingestion feature. On July 3, 2025, the label will change from High Scale Ingestion to Order Ingestion to remove any unintended connection to High Scale Order Ingestion feature.

The High Scale Ingestion feature (that will be renamed to Order Ingestion) in the Order Management user interface can be seen below:

 

NOTE: Order Ingestion remains optional for B2B stores.
