How to Verify Partner Community User Email Address After an Email Change in Experience Cloud

Issue Description

When a System Administrator changes the email address of a partner community user profile and clicks Save, the email is saved but the Verify link does not appear next to the email field. Additionally, when the user record is checked, the User Verified checkbox is unchecked.

Steps to Verify the Partner User Email

The partner user needs to reset the password from the Forgot Password link on the community to get the user email verified.
Note: When the System Administrator clicks on Reset Password from the user page, the user password is reset but the email is not verified.

Automate Email Verification with Async Email

If you are looking for a way to automate this process, you can use an Async Email Template. Async Email Verification is a Salesforce feature that sends a verification email automatically when an email address is updated, without requiring a manual password reset by the user.
