Error Saving Prompt Builder: Permissions Issue
When attempting to save in the Prompt Builder, you might encounter the following error message:
"We're sorry, something went wrong. There's an error on this page. Please try refreshing the page. Can you provide us with some more details first? (This will be reported as Error ID: XXXXXXXXX)"
If you click on "Technical Details" within the message and the Error ID ends with (-2115029782), it indicates that your Prompt Builder permissions may not be configured correctly.
You might also see a similar error like:
"Internal server error occurred. Error ID: XXXXXXXXX-XXXXXX (-2115029782)"
Please note that "X" represents a random number in the Error ID.
To create and manage prompt templates in the Prompt Builder, users need to be assigned the "Prompt Template Manager" permission set.
You can assign this by navigating to:
Setup | Permission Sets | Prompt Template Manager | Manage Assignments | Add Assignments | (Select User) | Next | Assign
If the error persists after performing these steps, please contact Salesforce Support for further assistance.
