If the issue persists, follow these steps to reset the connection:

  1. Log in using the 6-digit verification code.
  2. Disconnect Salesforce Authenticator from your account by following the steps in Remove an Account from Salesforce Authenticator
  3. Reinstall the Salesforce Authenticator app on your mobile device.
  4. Reconnect the app by following the steps in Register Salesforce Authenticator as an Identity Verification Method for Salesforce Orgs
