Scope of Support for Salesforce Flows

Julkaisupäivä: May 1, 2026
Kuvaus

Salesforce Support can assist with error messages, failures, and unexpected behavior encountered when using Salesforce Flows. However, certain scenarios fall outside the scope of Salesforce Support regarding assistance with Flows.

Example scenario: A customer contacts support because their Record-Triggered Flow is throwing an 'Unhandled Fault' error after a recent Salesforce release update. Troubleshooting this error is within scope. However, a request to design a new approval Flow for a customer's custom employee onboarding process, or to optimize an existing Flow for better performance, falls outside the scope of Salesforce Support.

What Salesforce Support Can Help With for Flows

Salesforce Support can assist with the following Flow-related issues:

  • Troubleshooting Flow error messages, including Internal Server Errors, Unhandled Faults, or Governor Limit issues.

  • Assisting with Flow access and permissions issues.

  • Addressing unexpected behavior or failures in existing, previously functional Flows.

  • Providing guidance on interpreting error messages within Salesforce Flows.

  • High-level frequently asked questions (FAQ) about Flows.

What Salesforce Support Cannot Help With for Flows

The following Flow-related requests are outside the scope of Salesforce Support:

  • Designing, creating, or building Salesforce Flows.

  • Optimizing existing Flows for performance or resource utilization.

  • Consultation or recommendations on best practices for Flow architecture or design.

  • Debugging complex business logic or custom implementation scenarios.

  • Providing advanced training or walkthroughs on creating or managing Flows.

  • Assistance with third-party Flow packages or managed packages not provided by Salesforce.

  • Building or adjusting Flow functionality to meet custom requirements; Salesforce can only provide guidance for customers to make adjustments independently.

Additional Notes

  • Unsupported Components: Issues arising from third-party Flow components, unmanaged packages, or Salesforce Labs Flows are unsupported.

  • Salesforce Support will confirm the successful execution of a Flow by verifying that it completes without errors and performs its designed operations. Detailed customization, business logic validation, or troubleshooting that exceeds basic break/fix scenarios is outside support scope.

  • Salesforce Support will guide customers towards self-service resources like Salesforce Help, Trailhead, or Salesforce Community for advanced Flow design and management assistance.
