In Salesforce when composing emails in Service Replies for Email, line breaks may not display correctly in the Text Body field. This issue occurs due to the way line break codes are handled in plain text emails. Specifically, the system may not recognize certain line-break characters, leading to formatting issues in the email body. This is commonly observed when using templates or automated replies that include line breaks in their content.
When using Service Replies for Email for the Text Body field, add the following sample command to prompt templates with a Template Type of “Service Email”.
Sample:
Since emails use plain text, the body of the email is written in TextBody.
Use the "\r" (Carriage Return) for line breaks.
Note that the instructions provided here are for a sample implementation. Salesforce Support cannot provide specific steps for the content described here, so please be aware of this in advance.
