Line Breaks Not Displaying Correctly in Service Replies for Email Text Body

Description

When composing emails using Service Replies for Email in Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud), line breaks may not display correctly in the Text Body field. This occurs because plain text emails require explicit carriage return characters (\r) for line breaks. Templates or prompt templates of type 'Service Email' that contain line breaks may produce formatting issues when the correct line break character is not used.

Résolution

When building prompt templates of type 'Service Email', use \r (Carriage Return) characters in the TextBody field for line breaks, as standard \n (Line Feed) characters may not be recognized in plain text email formatting.
