User is missing the Sales Lightning App tile from the App Launcher

The Sales Lightning App may appear to be missing from the App Launcher, even though the Sales Lightning App is enabled in Setup. This can happen when either the user’s profile is missing the Assigned App or the app is hidden in the App Menu.

Risoluzione

If the user's profile does not have the Sales app assigned, the app tile will not appear in the App Launcher. To check and fix this:

  1.  User’s profile missing the assigned app:
    ▸ Go to Setup > search for the user’s name and go to their user record
    ▸ Click on the profile of the user
    ▸ Go to Assigned Apps
    ▸ Ensure ‘Sales (standard__LightningSales)’ is visible for the profile 
  2.  Not visible in the App Manager:
    ▸ In Setup > in the ‘Quick Find’ box > search for “App Manager”
    ▸ Look for the “Sales” app with ‘App Type’ = Lightning
    ▸ Ensure the Visible checkbox is checked
  3.  Not visible in the App Menu:
    ▸ In Setup > in the ‘Quick Find’ box > search for “App Menu”
    ▸ Look for the “Sales” app
    ▸ Ensure this displays “Visible in App Launcher” instead of “Hidden in App Launcher”
