Troubleshooting Email Subscription Failures for Salesforce Reports and Dashboards

Salesforce report and dashboard subscription recipients do not receive the expected scheduled emails. This can occur when the sending user's email address, reply-to address, or the org-wide email address configured for subscriptions has not been verified, or when a DKIM key has not been configured.

Lösung

To troubleshoot Reports/Dashboards email subscription failures, ensure the user's email and return email addresses are verified,  configure a DKIM key and ensure the Org Wide Email Address for Report/Dashboard is verified:

  1. Verify the user's email under Setup > Users > Email. If it says 'Verify', the email needs verification.
  2. Verify the user's Reply-To Email Address. If it says 'Verify', the email needs verification.
  3. Create a DKIM key if none exists. Follow best practices for configuration.
  4. Check if the Org is set up with "Org Wide Email Address for Report/Dashboard Subscription" by going into "Reports and Dashboards Settings." If yes, the email used for "Org Wide Email Address for Report/Dashboard Subscription" needs to be verified.

After these steps, unsubscribe and re-subscribe to the affected report/dashboard. Monitor Salesforce's behavior. If the issue persists, open a new case with Salesforce Support.
