This Knowledge is to prevent customer community users cannot log in to Field Service app." with: "This article describes the minimum permissions and configuration steps required to allow a Customer Community user to successfully log in to the Salesforce Field Service mobile app. If additional permissions are needed beyond the minimum, add them after completing the steps below.

Lösung

Required Permissions:

  • Field Service Resource License
  • Field Service Resource Permissions
  • Field Service Mobile License (Please check if "API Enabled Access” is enabled)
  • Make Service Resource record is created for the user and it is active.
  • Make sure Community User has the Read/Write access to the Service Resource record.

Login Steps:

  1. Install Field Service mobile app (latest version) to each mobile device.
  2. On the Log In page, tap gear icon.
  3. Tap + to add a login host and enter your community site URL, enter name in "Display label" and tap "Complete".
  4. Tap gear icon and select host designated in 4. and login with your user ID and password.

This is the minimum procedures to log in with Customer Community User on Field Service Mobile app.

If you would like to add more permissions for the user, please add them accordingly.
