Unable to access Chat Transcripts after Digital Engagement license expires

Accessing Chat requires the Chat User feature license included with Digital Engagement. Once the Digital Engagement license expires, access to Chat Transcript (API Name: LiveChatTranscript) records is lost. It is strongly recommended to export data before the license expiration date.

How to Export Chat Transcript Data Before License Expiry →

1. Data Export: Navigate to Setup > Data Export and schedule or run a one-time export to download LiveChatTranscript records as a CSV. 

2. Data Loader: Alternatively, use Data Loader to query and export LiveChatTranscript records using a SOQL query before the expiry date. Tip: Run the export at least 7 days before the license expiration to allow processing time.
