Error "You do not have the necessary privileges to edit this record" appears when editing the Opportunity Currency field

To resolve this issue, you must grant read access to the fields used for Opportunity Splits in the affected user's profile or permission set. Please follow the steps below.

1. From Setup, navigate to the Object Manager.
2. Select the Opportunity object.
3. From the left-hand menu, select Fields & Relationships.
4. Click on the name of the field used for Opportunity Splits (e.g., Revenue, or other fields related to the split types used in your organization).
5. Click the Set Field-Level Security button.
6. Locate the profile assigned to the user experiencing the error and check the Visible or Read-Only checkbox for that profile.
7. Click Save.

Additional Information
This issue can occur in organizations where both the multi-currency and Opportunity Splits features are enabled.
Read permission to the split fields is required even if the associated split types are disabled.
