When using the "Create Contract" action in Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Contract Item Price records are created automatically if the Source Record ID is a QuoteId and the Contract Price Option is set to NET_UNIT_PRICE_ONLY. However, if the Source Record ID is an OrderId, the Contract Item Price records are not created.
This is a product limitation where the "Create Contract" action does not support automatic creation of Contract Item Price records when the source is an Order.
The root cause of the issue is a product limitation in the out-of-the-box 'CreateContract' action. When using 'OrderId' as the Source Record ID, the system does not support the automatic creation of Contract Item Price records. This functionality is only supported when 'QuoteId' is used as the Source Record ID.
