In Salesforce Lightning Experience, the Feed View configured on a Case page layout is not applied to the Case record page.
Feed View is a page layout setting that defines how the Case feed appears when an agent opens a Case record. This feature is only available in Salesforce Classic. In Lightning Experience, the Feed View setting on page layouts is ignored.
To replicate feed-style actions in Lightning Experience, Quick Actions should be used instead. Quick Actions can be placed on the page layout and accessed from the [Feed] tab on a Case record.
In Lightning Experience, the Feed View on the Case page layout is not applied. Use Quick Actions as the Lightning Experience equivalent to manage case feed interactions.
