Explains how records are created in the Bounce Data View when a CC email address bounces in Marketing Cloud Engagement, and how the status of the target subscriber changes as a result.

Løsning
When a bounce occurs on a CC email address, it is recorded against the subscriber key of the "To" recipient — not the CC address itself. Specifically, the SubscriberKey field in the Bounce Data View stores the "To" recipient's subscriber key, while the Domain field captures the domain of the CC email address where the bounce occurred. This bounce is also reflected in the history tab when viewing the target subscriber in All Subscribers.

 

Note that if multiple CC email addresses bounce, only one record is created in the Bounce Data View, with the Domain field recording only the domain of the first bounced address.
Since bounces are attributed to the "To" recipient's subscriber key, consecutive bounces may cause the subscriber's status to change to "Held."
