Account Name not Displayed in Company / Account field of Tasks and Events Reports

In Tasks and Events reports, the Account name may not appear in the Company / Account field if specific record association criteria are not met.

For example:-  A Task logged against a Contact record may not display an Account name if the Contact's Related To field does not point to an Account or Opportunity.

Solución

To display the Account name in Company / Account field of a Tasks and Events report, one of the following conditions must be met.

  • The Related To field is associated with an Account or Opportunity record.

  • The Related To field is associated with a custom object record that has a master-detail relationship with an Account.

  • The Name field is associated with a Contact record.

If the Account name is missing, please check the values in the Related To or Name fields of the specific Task or Event record to ensure they satisfy one of the criteria listed above.
