During Backup
Records included in a backup operation become read-only for the duration of the process.


During Restore
Existing records included in a restore operation do not become read-only. Therefore, please be aware that record values could be altered by simultaneous updates. It is strongly recommended to avoid updating target records while a restore is in progress.
