Behavior of 'Save & New' button with 'New' action override on custom objects

When the 'New' button is disabled in 'List View Button Layout' for a custom object and the 'Skip record type selection page' option is checked in the custom object's 'New' action override, clicking the 'Save & New' button from an existing custom object record's edit screen will still show the record type selection page.

 

 

솔루션

This is an expected behavior.

When the 'New' button is disabled in 'List View Button Layout', the 'Save & New' button on an existing record's edit screen does not apply the 'New' button override, and instead, the default behavior of displaying the record type selection page occurs.

If you want to avoid this behavior, please do not use the 'Save & New' button.
